The second production will be the remount of the 2014 critically acclaimed Denton County production of the hit comedy, God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza, Translated by Christopher Hampton presented by special arrangement with Dramatist Play Service and Actors’ Equity Association.   

 

God of Carnage was the winner of the 2009 Tony Award.  It is the story of a playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys that brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their own principles in tatters.

Performances will be held Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m., August 13 - 23, 2015 at the Studio Theatre in Addison Theatre Centre.  Tickets are $35 with a $5 discount for Seniors (55+) and Students (with ID).
